Downtown Huntsville, Inc. has plenty of exciting events coming up in the next two weeks! Read more to learn a bit about what to expect from each upcoming event.
805 After Five
Headlining this month's free concert series is Billy Allen + The Pollies, a touring band that is also performing at the upcoming South Star Music Festival. This Alabama-based band brings a unique blend of soulful rock and Americana to the stage, captivating audiences with their powerful performances and heartfelt lyrics. The opening act for the concert is The Wanda Band, a pop rock power trio from Huntsville. Expect delicious food vendors, local artisan vendors, interactive activities, giveaways, and refreshments from Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer. This event is free to attend and rideshare or carpooling with friends is encouraged!

Food Truck Rally
Grab your friends, family, or pets and head downtown to enjoy mouthwatering food truck vendors. Don't forget to bring a chair or blanket to sit and eat while taking in all downtown activities. This month's Food Truck Rally will happen at the same time and location as Light Up the Night hosted by Huntsville’s Parks & Rec. Enjoy music, lights, dancing and more glow party fun at this free, family-friendly event.
The Food Truck Rally is July 26 from 5 to 9 PM at Big Spring Park.

Art Walk
Explore scenes in beautiful Downtown Huntsville while shopping for art, jewelry, decor, treats, and more from over 50 local vendors! Each event is free to attend and will include live music, yard games, and kid-friendly activities. You can also grab a purple cup from local establishments to sip while you stroll. In conjunction with the Downtown Huntsville Art Walk, DHI invites the community to enjoy the nearby “Legacy of the Invisible” event.
The Downtown Art Walk is July 26 from 5 to 8 PM at Courthouse Square.
The Legacy of the Invisible
This event is a special celebration of “No Straight Lines,” a new downtown artwork by local artist Float. The event also coincides with the 25th Anniversary of the Chandra X-ray Observatory launch. "No Straight Lines" pays tribute to Huntsville's rich scientific legacy in astrophysics, highlighting the groundbreaking discoveries made possible by Huntsville scientists and engineers. The “Legacy of the Invisible” event will feature remarks from NASA and Arts Huntsville, offering insights into the artwork's inspiration and significance. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the artist, Float, whose creativity brings science to life through his art.
Legacy of the Invisible is July 26 with the program starting at 6:30 PM at the corner of Clinton Avenue and Washington Street.
Olympic Watch Party
The Olympic games will be projected onto a twenty foot screen for attendees to watch the first day of the games. The event is purple cup and pet friendly, so bring out your friends and family to enjoy specials from surrounding restaurants and a night of Olympic fun. This event is free to attend!
The Olympic Watch Party is July 27 from 6 to 9 PM at Holmes Avenue from Spragins Street to Jefferson Street.
