During this historic run, local musicians will be showcased throughout the route from the starting line to the finish line. All runners will receive an exclusive commemorative medal for participation and additional #VBC50 swag will be included in the race packet. This event is Saturday, August 31 at 8 AM at the Von Braun Center.

Makers on the Mountain
This is a series of demonstrations of historic skills and crafts in the Historic Park at Burritt on the Mountain. On Saturday, August 31 from 10 AM to 2 PM you can expect basket weaving and cordage making with invasive plants. This ancient method of creating rope and cordage using wild harvested plants and vines will be demonstrated.
