Billy Allen + The Pollies, Aaron Lee Tasjan to Headline Upcoming 805 After Five Concerts

Downtown Huntsville, Inc. and the Huntsville Music Office are thrilled to announce the headliners for the upcoming July and August installments of 805 After Five.

Headlining the July 18 concert is Billy Allen + The Pollies, a touring band performing at the upcoming South Star Music Festival. The opening act for the concert is The Wanda Band, a pop rock power trio from Huntsville.

Billy Allen + The Pollies bring a unique blend of soulful rock and Americana to the stage, captivating audiences with their powerful performances and heartfelt lyrics. Known for their dynamic sound and engaging live shows, this Alabama-based band has built a strong following with their rich musical tapestry and compelling storytelling.

Taking the stage at the August 15 concert is Aaron Lee Tasjan and opening act Camping in Alaska.

Aaron Lee Tasjan is a celebrated singer-songwriter known for his genre-defying style that blends rock, folk, and pop influences. His witty lyrics and eclectic sound have earned him critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Camping in Alaska is an American Midwest emo band from Huntsville.

805 After Five offers an unparalleled experience every third Thursday from May to October at Campus 805’s Butler Green Park. Each event features an electrifying concert by a touring act, delicious food vendors, local artisan vendors, interactive activities, giveaways, and refreshing beverages from Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer. The concert is completely free to attend.

Free on-site parking is available, but attendees are encouraged to carpool, rideshare, or bike. A designated Rideshare Station, sponsored by Timberlake, League & Brooks, and a Downtown BlueBikes station are available for easy transportation.
