Fun Weekend Events in Downtown Huntsville

Downtown Huntsville is the place to be this weekend, with amazing events happening each day. Keep reading to find the perfect event for you to attend!
805 After Five- Join DHI this Thursday, June 20, at Campus 805’s Butler Green for a FREE concert by Lilly Hiatt and special guest Lana White! In addition to the concert, the event features food trucks, yard games, artisan vendors, delicious beer, and so much more, all kicking off at 5PM and lasting until 8PM.
Jazz in the Garden- The Drake State Foundation is hosting its 3rd Annual Jazz in the Garden fundraiser on Friday, June 21. Gates will open at 5PM on Drake State’s campus, and the event will start at 6PM. Your ticket purchase promises a night of live jazz and R&B music, food trucks, and fun. The event will be headlined by saxophonist Ryon Schultz. Huntsville Drumline and Nina Marie Live will kick off the evening with special musical performances.
Food Truck Rallies- Take your pick for dinner from a variety of local food truck vendors lined up in Big Spring Park. While you eat your food, you can also enjoy free live music, yard games, and a kids’ face painting booth. The rally will take place this Friday, June 21, from 5-9PM.
NASA in the Park- Back for the first time since 2018, NASA in the Park promises a day packed with STEM related activities in Big Spring Park. Enjoy visiting over 70 exhibits, eating from delicious local food vendors, and hearing from special guest speakers. The fun starts on Saturday, June 22, from 10AM - 2 PM.
Downtown Vintage Market- Huntsville’s Downtown Vintage Market is back this Saturday, June 22! Browse through a variety of vintage gems from over 40 vendors, offering unique pieces from clothing to decor to collectibles spanning from the 50s to the 2000s. Also enjoy an amazing set from a DJ and delicious bites from local food trucks. Best of all, it’s completely free to attend, so grab your friends and family, come shop, and enjoy the day downtown! The market is hosted from 11AM - 4PM inside of the parking garage at the corner of Greene and Holmes.
Water Lantern Festival- Voted #1 Festival by USA Today, the Water Lantern Festival promises a beautiful experience in Big Spring Park, where you'll witness the magic of lanterns as they light up the water. Gates open Saturday, June 22, at 5:30 PM, which is when you can start enjoying live music, food trucks, and fun. The lanterns will be launched into the water from 8:30-9:30PM. Your ticket purchase gets you access to all the festivities and a lantern decorating kit.
THROWN Pottery Market- Mark your calendars for the first annual THROWN Pottery Market: a family-friendly, FREE-to-attend event full of creativity, fun, and a whole lot of talented artists! The event features 40 pottery vendors, artist demonstrations, hands-on activities, challenges, and wine tastings. Attend the event on Sunday, June 23, from 12-6PM at The Electric Belle.
